You want to get married surrounded by your closest family and friends and are researching all the best micro wedding venues before you make your final decision.
If you’re tying the knot in Colorado, I have the inside scoop for you on five incredible places to get married.
Ranging from charming waterfront spots like Salida Steam Plant to more modern and industrial venues like Space Annex, this list is sure to have something that matches your vibe.
I love these places because of their charm, character, and versatility.
First up on this list is Realm– where I got married.
Yes, this is where I said “I do” so the bias is real, but the second you step foot into this studio space, you’ll understand why I love it so much. It feels like a blank canvas you can’t wait to make your own. It’s typically used as a photo studio, and the all-white interior makes for the perfect starting point to make your specific vibe come to life.
Leave the interior plain and bright for a classic and clean wedding look, or add pops of color like my husband and I did to liven up the space and add some personality.
What else I love about Realm:
– There’s a brewery next door so you can plan an afterparty with a chill vibe
– They have large garage doors in the front, which let gorgeous natural light in and are perfect for all the weather that Colorado throws at you
– They have onsite parking which makes things easy for guests
If you’re already in love, you’re going to want to keep reading, because that was just the first of five micro wedding venues I adore.
High-end art deco at its finest. The interior of this space feels expensive and extremely intentionally put together. Guests can stay in their perfectly manicured rooms and enjoy their theater and event bar, Death & Co.
They also have a garden that is perfect for plant loving babes. It has a neon sign that says “wish you were here” that is perfect for photo ops.
What else I love about The Ramble Hotel:
– It’s a hotel and entertainment spot all-in-one. Perfect for entertaining your guests and making sure they have an amazing place to stay.
– It’s located right in the River North Art District (aka RiNo) which is packed with tons of art, culture, and entertainment spots– your guests will never be bored.
The spot for couples who want to PARTY. This location is right on the river and mixes outdoorsy with industrial. Most couples opt to have their ceremony on the river covered with trees and the reception in their gorgeous brick building.
What else I love about Salida:
– It’s in the center of downtown where everything is poppin’.
– There are often rafters floating down the river who will shout “Congratulations!” as they float by.
– It’s charming and SO.MUCH.FUN I’ve never been to a bad wedding here.
-The getting ready area is a green room so you can live out your rockstar–or theater kid– dreams.
This women-owned event space is located in the Sante Fe Art District. It is a bar and coffee shop on days where there aren’t events, so they have an awesome wooden bar for you to use and a great outdoor patio space.
Plus, this space has such cool decor already, so you don’t have to add anything to make it photo-ready.
What else I love about Town Hall:
– Their mission is to empower women through hiring, vendor partnerships, and investments. So if you want a venue with a great cause behind it, this place is for you.
– The walls are a gorgeous green that liven up the space (and are SO perfect for fall weddings)
– They have lots of moveable walls so you can arrange the space how you’d like
– Gender neutral bathrooms!
If you want an industrial venue, look no further than the Space Annex. There is a stunning rooftop where you can take pictures with views of both the mountains and city in the background. The steel pillars and murals outside the venue set the industrial tone immediately.
There’s contemporary art all throughout the space, which adds pops of color and creates the perfect backdrop for a night of celebrating.
What else I love about Space Annex:
– The indoor space is just as gorgeous as the outside (and you’ll get such a great variety of photos here because of it)
– It’s very contemporary. The dining space feels like stepping into a modern art museum, while the outdoor space feels like relaxing at a brewery with your closest friends.
– They can accommodate small and large weddings
I would recommend visiting any of these places in a heartbeat to see what it would be like for you to get married there.
